Healthy Afternoon Snacks

I like making quick, easy to make afternoon snacks and to make them healthy for the kids, I make use of any healthy ingredients I could find in the fridge.

So far here's what I found:
  • fresh strawberries
  • yoghurt
  • sliced almonds
I removed the little green crowns from the strawberries with a spoon, placed them in a big bowl, covered them with yoghurt and sprinkled sliced almonds all over the top. The kids love the fruit snack I made for them! Recipe is from My Online Meals.

Dinner Made Easy

Coming up with a good meal to make for dinner is not always an easy task. You have to consider what each member of the family likes to eat if you want them enjoying the food you have prepared for dinner.

So what is for dinner tonight?

You don't have to keep asking yourself this every single day. Plan your meals. If you have a stash of old recipe books, you might want to go over them and find some good recipes to try. Is this what you have been doing the whole time? Fed up with the whole planning-what's-for-dinner-thing? Is it taking too much of your time? Is it costing you money?

Have a look at My Online Meals. They have a very good weekly set of recipes and an organized shopping list that will make your day to day meal planning a thing of the past! For just $4.97 a month, you will get recipes that are healthy and easy to make.
